After a week of that consisted of:
1. 17 inches of snow
2. Sub zero temperatures
3. The U.S. Supreme Court finally deciding who won
the Presidential
election
AGWA Illinois Chapter H decided they needed to get
together & try to
generate some much needed Holiday Spirit. Sooooo..,
THANKS TO THE
HERCULEAN EFFORTS OF KEN & ANALEA ARCHIBALD, 35
members got together at
Rooster's Bar & Grill for breakfast.
It didn't take long for the group to relax & get
into a real festive
mood, despite the fact of the onset of P.M.S. (Parked
Motorcycle
Syndrome), because of the long winter months ahead.
Fritz Goins won the "door prize" of a winter scarf
that was custom
embroidered by Analea Archibald - Thanks Analea!
After breakfast, 11 members drove to Aurora, IL to
present gifts to our
2000 "Clause & Effect" family (Check out
the whole story at:
http://www.christmasinjuly.org/2000family.html).
When all was said and done, this day was what everyone
needed after a
rough week.
Ride Safe & Happy Holidays to all!

P.S. I have a problem - all the snow that fell
last week has resulted
in me developing an intimate relationship with my
Toro snowthrower. I
have discovered that it is jealous of the Goldwing.
Now what do I do?
