On Sunday Sept. 4, a hardy band of 8 Chapter H members led by Jim
Garner, left McDonalds at 7AM for the Field Of Dreams movie site in
Dyersville, IA. Despite a rainy start, the group pressed on & arrived
at the site by late morning. Everyone enjoyed the site and spent some
$$$ on souvenirs.

Since it was still early, and not wanting to waste good riding weather,
the group headed North up the Great River Road, and eventually crossed
the Mississippi River at La Crescent, Minnesota. From there, we made
our way back through Wisconsin & eventually, home.

A long day (about 16 hours), a lot of miles (about 550), but well worth
it!!!

P.S. - We did, however, make one fundamental mistake - believe it or
not, WE FORGOT TO STOP FOR ICE CREAM!!
