Christmas 2002

We turn 20!!!!!

This has got to be the best thing about aging. We are so thrilled to be able to once again ring those holiday bells under the banner of Clause & Effect. If you've been with us for the duration, words cannot express my gratitude. And if you're new to our Christmas Family welcome aboard.

YOUR LETTER
Your letter comes from one of the following: subsidized daycare facilities, children at risk programs or children's homeless shelters.
On you letter you will find the name of your child/family, the contact person and the phone number.
Your first step is to call them.  This will let them know that their letter has been “adopted” and will  also give you a chance to ask any questions you might have.
The rest, in the spirit of Clause & Effect, is up to you.
We only ask that once you receive your letter that you commit to it. We cannot handle returned letters.
If you cannot fulfill playing Santa, then please find someone who can, otherwise a child or family will go without.  Keep in mind that clothes are really needed but the children ultimately look forward to toys.

DEADLINES & DELIVERIES
This year Thanksgiving comes late and many facilities close early so don't stretch your time too thin.
You can deliver 3 ways, Mail, UPS (please use return receipt requested) or in person.
Allow ample time as we all know how slow delivery can be at this time of year.
Deadlines for each school is posted on your letter.
If you would like to meet you recipient in person please arrange that with your contract person.
Due to all the confidentiality laws, going to a home address is usually not possible. Again, each facility has their own set of regulations that they must abide by.
Also please inquire about your safety if you are driving into an area which is unfamiliar to you.

2003
Even though we might not be celebrating another 25 years we certainly would like to give it a try. And truly, because we don't have media support, your word of mouth is crucial. For every new elf that joins us another child is provided with the magic of Christmas.

So If you enjoyed this year and want to play Santa again and provide Christmas to a child or a family, let me know by sending a SASE with your request & budget (allow $50.00 per person).
Please don't forget your SASE, & TELL EVERYONE I NEED SANTAS!!!!!!!!
